Health tips

Quick guidance for common concerns.

PCOD / PCOS

Aim for 30 min daily walks, eat protein-rich breakfasts, cut refined sugar, sleep before 11 pm. Track cycles monthly and consult early if periods stay irregular over 3 months.

Diabetes

Walk for 10 min after each meal, prefer whole grains over polished rice, keep hydration high, and check fasting sugar every 2–3 months. Avoid skipping meals — it spikes sugars later.

Skin & Pigmentation

Use mineral sunscreen daily (even indoors near windows), avoid harsh scrubs, and treat root causes — thyroid, gut, stress. Melasma worsens with heat; keep skin cool and moisturised.

Hair Fall

Check iron, vitamin D and B12. Wash hair 2–3×/week with a gentle shampoo, avoid tight ties, and oil scalp weekly. Excessive shedding > 3 months needs a clinical review.

Anxiety

Practice 4-7-8 breathing twice a day, limit caffeine after 2 pm, and journal triggers. If panic episodes occur weekly or sleep is disturbed > 2 weeks, seek professional help.

Heart Health

Move 150 min/week, keep BP < 130/85, avoid trans fats and ultra-processed snacks. Annual lipid + ECG screening recommended after 35, earlier if family history exists.

Healthy Eating

Half your plate vegetables, a quarter protein, a quarter whole grains. Eat the rainbow weekly, chew slowly, stop at 80% full. Plain water beats every other drink.

Sleep Hygiene

Same sleep & wake times daily, no screens 45 min before bed, cool dark room, no heavy meals after 8 pm. Good sleep is the cheapest medicine you'll ever take.

Immunity

Vitamin D, zinc and a fibre-rich diet build immunity better than supplements alone. Sunlight 15 min/day, fermented foods, and stress control matter more than vitamin pills.
